Originally from Cagayan De Oro City, Philippines, Jan takes a personal and individualized approach to teaching yoga, influenced by his own experience as a practitioner of Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga. He is a E-RY500, YACEP. In addition he has over a 100 Hours of Advanced Anatomy Training, 85 hours Pre and Post Natal Yoga Teacher Training and 25 hour restorative training. The basis of his teaching philosophy is that yoga can benefit all body-types: if you can breathe, you can benefit from yoga. In class with Jan you will experience a breath and alignment based exploration of familiar asana while exploring challenging and often untapped asana. Always committed to being intuitive, compassionate, and non-judgemental, the cornerstone of Jan's practice is a joyful exploration into challenging and new asana with modifications offered for all.
